This Street and Architecture photography workshop is focused on photographing the life of the streets, neighbourhoods, and cityscapes of Montreal. This is the perfect setting for anyone who wants to build their people photography. Our objective is to help photographers find purpose, conquer the hesitancy of photographing people, and motivate them to develop their vision.

Set in unique row houses renowned for their decorative curving staircases, Montreal is a city of various culturally varied neighbourhoods that present the exploratory photographer with a treasure trove of stimulating opportunities wherever they point their lenses.
Join us to experience a four-day street photography workshop in one of Canada’s most visually stimulating cities. Lectures and presentations, as well as outings, will fill the days.
Workshop Description:
During the workshop, you will learn to link unique instants of daily life and sharpen your skills and approach to photographing people and life in real time. This workshop offers a fantastic opportunity for participants to make a giant leap forward in their ability to photograph not only environments and architecture but, most notably, people and life.
Montreal is a very diverse city with numerous photo opportunities. So, it’s time you experience it with someone who knows the city and has walked it endlessly, camera in hand, exploring its streets
Even better, you will spend time with two exceptionally talented and experienced and well-travelled photographers, Maurice Henri and Karen Casey, so that we can provide you with many different approaches to Street Photography.
The workshop will include a mixture of photo walks, photo evaluations, and interactive lectures. This is an intensive workshop with multiple instructors fully involved each step of the way to make sure you get the most out of your time. There will also be an emphasis on helping you fully immerse yourself in the city through street and architecture photography, so you can learn and have a wonderful time experiencing Montreal.
What’s Included?
Various guided street photography walks give a broad view of photo opportunities and exploration in the beautiful city of Montreal.
1-on-1 shooting with each of your instructors provides constant feedback, tips, and guidance to advance your work. We will also mix up activities and photography assignments into small groups to enable you to work on your photography without distraction.
Multiple educational and inspirational lessons covering various street and architecture photography aspects.
Constant access to instructors, including outside of the workshop’s scheduled time. We’re here to make sure you get as much as possible during your time in Montreal.
Activities are planned to give time for bonding with other photographers and improving your photography.
This workshop is about discovering and celebrating the unique artist that you are and the fantastic journey that lies ahead.
